What Tivanik is and what it is used for:
Tivanik (Levofloxacin) is a synthetic, broad-spectrum antibacterial agent. Chemically Levofloxacin is a chiral fluorinated carboxyquinolone. Levofloxacin is indicated for acute sinusitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis , community acquired pneumonia, complicated urinary tract infection.
Before you take Tivanik:
Levofloxacin is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Levofloxacin, quinolone antimicrobial agents, or any other components of this product. Levofloxacin is not recommended for use during pregnancy or nursing, as the effects on the unborn child or nursing infant are unknown.
How to take Tivanik:
Use Tivanik as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions.
Possible side effects:
Nausea,Headache,Diarrhoea,Insomnia,Constripation,Dizziness, Dyspepsia,Edema,Vomiting,Chest pain.
How to store Tivanik:
Store in a cool and dry place, away from light. Keep out of reach of children.
