What Atechlor is and what it is used for:

Atenolol is a beta blocker that acts preferentially on the? 1. Adrenergic receptors in the heart.Chlorthalidone is a thiazide-like diuretic that reduces the BP possibly by inhibiting sodium reabsorption at the begaining of the distal convulated tubule. Combination of the two drugs results in additive antihypertensive action

How to take Atechlor:

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Possible side effects:

For atenolol -Allergic reactions: If you have an allergic reaction, see a doctor straight away. The signs may include raised lumps on your skin (weals), or swelling of your face, lips, mouth, tongue or throat. For chlorthialidone muscles feel weak or will not work properly .irregular heartbeat

How to store Atechlor:

Store in a cool and dry place, away from light. Keep out of reach of children.
