What Trilix is and what it is used for:
Indapamide is prescribed for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). Although it belongs to a group of medicines called diuretics.
Before you take Trilix:
Some medicines are not suitable for people with certain conditions, and sometimes a medicine may only be used if extra care is taken. For these reasons, before you start taking indapamide it is important that your doctor knows: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have any problems with the way your liver works, or any problems with the way your kidneys work. If you have a problem with your adrenal glands, called Addison\\\'s disease. If you have ever had an allergic reaction to a medicine.
How to take Trilix:
Before you start the treatment, read the manufacturer\\\'s printed information leaflet from inside the pack. You can take it either before or after a meal. If you have been prescribed a modified-release tablet, these tablets should be swallowed whole. Do not break, crush or chew them. Do not take two doses on the same day to make up for a missed dose.
