What Actisal is and what it is used for:
Actisal ®is a preparation of Levosulbutamol sulphate. It is a beta 2 agonist and indicated for the treatment or prevention of bronchospasm in adults, adolescents and children 4 years of age and older with reversible obstructive airway disease.
Before you take Actisal:
Follow all instructions given to you by your doctor carefully. They may differ from the information contained in this leaflet.
How to take Actisal:
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Possible side effects:
Hypocalcaemia, palpitation, fine tremors of the skeletal muscle and muscle cramps may occur. The other likely side effects are nausea, vomiting, burning substernal or epigastric pain and diarrhoea.
How to store Actisal:
Store in a cool and dry place, away from light. Keep out of reach of children.
