What Anfasil is and what it is used for:
Anfasil (Fluconazole) is a triazole antifungal agent. Fluconazole is indicated in the treatment of acute or recurrent vaginal candidiasis, mucosal candidiasis.It is a potent and selective inhibitor of fungal cytochrome P-450 dependent enzymes necessary for the synthesis of ergosterol.
Before you take Anfasil:
Caution should be taken in renal impairment, pregnancy and breastfeeding and in raised liver enzyme. The use of Fluconazole in lactating mothers is not recommended.
How to take Anfasil:
Use Anfasil as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions.
Possible side effects:
Nausea, abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea and flatulence , occasionally abnormalities of liver enzyme, rarely rash, angioedema and anaphylaxis reported.
How to store Anfasil:
Store in a cool and dry place, away from light. Keep out of reach of children.
